Manufactured by our team of experts, our range of wooden external doors are professionally made using Accoya and Sapele engineered hardwood. Our manufacturing process has been developed and fine-tweaked over the years to meet the exacting standards of PAS 23/24. PAS 23 includes testing to BS6375 part 1 with respect to weather performance and general performance requirements, and PAS 24 tests the high security performance of the doors and includes full blown attack on the door.

Whatever the size and style of external door, here at The Replacement door Company we can help. Our range includes bespoke manufactured timber back and front doors, French door sets, sliding patio doors and most recently we have added bi-fold doors to our range.
Every new door comes with a new frame including a high-quality neoprene weatherproofing system, multipoint high security locking system and a choice of brass or chrome door fittings. Our range of double glazed units are 24mm thick low-E and filled with argon gas for improved insulation, and covers a wide selection of decorative glass. All our external doors come with a 10 year guarantee.
Each door set is pre-finished in our factory in Bathgate and will allow the timber to not only look fantastic but will protect it from the worst of the Scottish weather.

What are the minimum/maximum sizes available?

How easy to fit are Wooden Doors?
The Replacement Door Company offer supply and fitting services so that everything is taken care of efficiently and without any hassle to you. If you choose to install our doors yourself we first would recommend to research how to install an external wooden door in depth. Depending on how your current door and frame come out, a removal and fitting can be completed within 2 short hours - at most.
Can wooden doors be painted?
While we do stock a large range of fantastic external wooden doors in several colours, you may want to repaint to match the interior of your home. If you do choose to repaint your door be sure to follow the following instructions for the best results. Begin by painting the edges before moving on to mouldings and panels. When painting the flat edges of the door be sure to use the flat of the brush to cover the surface.
Once covered, look to paint the vertical centre panels of the door before moving to the horizontal and finishing with the long side strips.
How should I clean my wooden Door?
Wooden doors are sturdy and long lasting however, over time they can become subject to a buildup of dirt and grime. While this can sometimes be removed simply with a sponge and warm soapy water we do recommend high performance clean for stains and substantial dirt.
Do you supply door handles?
Yes, every door we sell comes with a set of door handles. We provide a wide range of handles from leading brands including serezzeta, working alongside you to choose the handle that suits best.
